Quick Quinoa meal
- 1 cup cooked Bayara quinoa
- 1/3 cup canned black beans
- 1 small tomato,chopped
- 1 scallion,sliced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- Bayara Crushed Pepper
Toss quinoa,beans and the veggies in a bowl
Drizzle olive oil,lemon juice,salt and pepper
Mix well and relish!
Seven Spice Pistachios
- 6 tbsp orange juice
- 4 tbsp Bayara Seven spice powder
- 4 tsp Bayara salt
- 6 cups unsalted Bayara pistachios
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F
Whisk orange juice, Bayara seven-spice powder and salt in a large bowl. Add Bayara pistachios; toss to coat. Spread in an even layer on a baking sheet.
Bake, stirring every 15 minutes, until dry. Let cool a
Pumpkin Flax Quickbread
- 2 tbsp Bayara Flaxseed(soaked overnight)
- 6 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 1/3 cups all-pupose flour
- 1/3 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 tsp baking
Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
Lightly grease one 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Whisk together flax seed meal and water.Mix in sugar,pumpkin and apple sauce.
In a large bowl,stir all-purpose flour,whole wheat flour,baking soda,cinnamon powder,salt,
CHICKEN KOFTA KEBAB
400 gm chicken ground
80 gm cheddar cheese grated
1 tsp ginger minced
1 tsp green chillies finely chopped
1 tbsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp Bayara Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp Bayara garam masala
1/4 tsp Bayara salt
1/2 tsp Bayara cumin powder
1 pc egg white
50 gm butter
2 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
1 pc Onion chopped
Chop the onion into small pieces.
Mince the ginger & green chillies.
Chop 2 tbsp of coriander leaves.
Grate cheddar/processed cheese.
In a large bowl, add ground chicken, processed cheese, minced ginger, garlic paste, chopped fresh coriander, green chillies, onion, egg white, Bayara Kashmiri red chili powder, Bayara salt, Bayara cumin powder & Bayara garam masala.
Mix everything well.
Using wet hands, divide lamb mixture into smalls balls. Form each ball into a long, flat kebab around the skewers.
Cook the kebabs for about 5 to 6 mins or until done.
Cool & serve with tzatziki sauce.
2 cup quinoa - White cooked
2 cup arugula
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp Bayara salt
1/2 tsp Bayara black pepper powder
1/3 cup Bayara cranberries dried
1/3 cup Bayara pecan chopped
Place 1 cup of uncooked quinoa in a fine-mesh strainer, and rinse thoroughly with water.
Cook 1 cup of Quinoa to 2 cups of water.
When it boils turn down the heat to medium.
Cover & cook the quinoa for 10 to 15 minutes. Fluff it gently with a fork.
Mince 2 cloves of garlic.
For the dressing, in a small bowl add the minced garlic.
Then add olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, honey, salt & pepper.
Mix everything well and set aside.
In a large salad bowl, combine arugula & quinoa. Pour the dressing over the salad.
Add dried cranberries and pecan nuts.
Toss it all together and serve.
